Note : Java must be installed on your computer before you can install Alphabox. If its missing please install it first. Like for Windows 10, you can download and install it from here: https://www.java.com/en/download/win10.jsp . Afterwards open the DOS command prompt and type "java -version" and press enter. It should display version of java you are using, which must be at least or above 1.8.

INSTALLATION : The Installation of Alphaseq Box software on your Computer is very straightforward.

Here are the steps:

​

1. Navigate to Download page of this website and download the installer. Right now we have created installer for Windows and Mac only. In future we are going to upload installer of Linux, Android and IOS soon.
    

2. Run the installer on your laptop using Administrator permissions. Please note if you do not use Administrator Permissions to install, then Alphaseq Box software will not install properly and will not work. So the way to install is: Right click on alphaseq_installer.exe and select "Run as administrator" from list.

USAGE : The usage is very simple and straightforward.

Here are the steps:

​

1. Connect Your Alphaseq Box with your computer through cable.
    

2. Now you can type and send encrypted message to your paired user/device using the keyboard on Alphaseq box. You can use any communication application you may like for example Skype, zoom, gmail, MS-teams, facebook etc.
    

3. Your paired user/device can also send you encrypted message through any application they may like. All you have to do to decrypt is to:
    

   1. Select the message string you want to decrypt. Like select text of message you recieved "<ahbk>..........</ahbk>"
       

   2. Press Ctrl+B. You will see the decrypted message on your alphabox screen.

MACOS

Here are the steps:

1. Navigate to Download page of this website and download the installer. Right now we have created installer for Windows and Mac only. In future we are going to upload installer of Linux, Android and IOS soon.
    

2. Unzip and run the installer on your laptop by double clicking on installer.

USAGE : The usage is very simple and straightforward.

Here are the steps:

​

1. Connect Your Alphaseq Box with your computer through cable.
    

2. Now you can type and send encrypted message to your paired user/device using the keyboard on Alphaseq box. You can use any communication application you may like for example Skype, zoom, gmail, MS-teams, facebook etc.
    

3. Your paired user/device can also send you encrypted message through any application they may like. All you have to do to decrypt is to:

   1. Select the message string you want to decrypt. Like select text of message you recieved "<ahbk>..........</ahbk>"
       

   2. From top bar select Safari/Zoom/Skype or any application tharough which you received message. Then select Services>>DecryptText sub menu . You will see the decrypted message on your alphabox screen.

KEYBOARD SHORTCUT: To make decrypting easier. User can create keyboard shortcut for himself. Here are steps:

​

1. Open System Preferences.

2. Then go to Keyboard>>Shortcuts.

3. Click "Services" option in left menu.

4. In Right Menu under "Text", you will find "DecryptText" option. Select it and click "Add Shortcut".

5. Give any shortcut you may like. I like command+B.
